A chance for university students in Hong Kong to turn their investment ideas into compelling investment proposals
The challenge aims to bring together some of the most talented individuals in investment management and finance, providing students with an opportunity to compete by presenting their ideas to a panel of leading industry experts. This intensive and detailed process aims to identify the best stock recommendations. Participants have the opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and an esteemed panel of industry leaders in the challenge. In the fast-paced and complex finance industry, these valuable connections can play a significant role in participants' future careers.

Scope
Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students from all Universities in Hong Kong are welcome to join. (one to four students per team) ​

Students will work in teams to pitch their equity investment idea during the preliminary rounds, and outstanding candidates will be shortlisted for the Grand Finals.

Registration
Jan 26 (Mon) – Feb 16, 2026 (Mon)
Registration opens for all teams, students from all years & any field can apply.

Students are required to fill in a form for Team Lead (Key point of contact), Members, Contact information & CV.
Teach-in Session
Feb 26, 2026 (P.M. HKT) (Thu)
Complementary Session on Stock Pitch & Research to prepare for the 1st Round.
At least one student from each team is required to attend to confirm their registration. Attendance form will be shown at the end of the teach-in session.
First Round
Mar 1 (Sun) – Mar 8, 2026 (Sun)
7 days will be given for the first round. Teams are required to submit a 5-page pitch deck & Excel financial model.

Results will be announced on March 27, 2026 for the first round.
Semi-final Round
Mar 27 (Fri) – Apr 3, 2026 (Fri)
7 days will be given for the semi-final round. Teams are required to submit a 10-page pitch deck (unlimited appendix) & Excel financial model on April 3.

Each team would be given 10 mins to present & 10 mins for Q&A on April 4, 2026.Results will be announced on the same day.
Final Round
Apr 4 (Sat) – Apr 10, 2026 (Fri)
6 days will be given for the final round. Teams are required to submit a 10-page deck (unlimited appendix) & Excel financial model on April 9.
Final round on April 10, 2026 (5 – 7 pm). Each team will be given 10 mins to present & 10 mins for Q&A. Results will be announced on the same day.
